The experience I gained at Karatina University is amazing. My undergraduate degree in BSc. Environmental Studies was a real eye-opener because it brought in a variety of disciplines that helped me to develop skills in Aquatic Sciences. They enabled me to kickstart a career in limnology and wetland management.

Now is a great time to study the environment. This field isn’t going to diminish and the number of opportunities for people to go into environment-related jobs is increasing. If you are proactive you will be able to access the wealth of opportunities on offer.

I love the Environmental Studies course at KarU. It gave me the skills and knowledge to go on and conquer the world.  Most of the staff are at the top of their game and are involved in projects with a whole host of partner organisations. I got an opportunity to work as an Intern with ESRI Eastern Africa and I seized it. I’m now working with them as a GIS analysts
